amalfi coast weddings

Legend has it that Hercules fell in love with a nymph named Amalfi. When she died he buried her in the world’s most beautiful place and named it for her.
While the Amalfi Coast has been Instagram ready for centuries, it is not easy to get there with public transportation. It is worth the effort since, at least for me, it is the most spectacularly beautiful stretch of land that I have ever laid eyes upon. To boot the locals are charming, the climate is mild and the food is delicious. Be sure to bring your appetite.

The Amalfi Coast isn’t just about the sea. The mountains that rise above the coast offer unparalleled views of the sea, mountains, and the legendary coastline all in one gaze. The ancient town of Ravello sits atop a cliff and contains two of the most famous and historic gardens in all of Italy, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone which are not to be missed.
Villa Cimbrone, perched on a cliff rising high above the sea, is one of the most stunning locations in all of Italy for a wedding. The property is vast, offering a variety of secret gardens, breathtaking views, and an ancient crypt for the wedding festivities. It is also an intimate five star hotel with 19 rooms and a Michelin starred restaurant.

The Amalfi Coast is a seaside destination with the season lasting from April through October. Few hotels remain open outside of that period. The biggest limitation to the Amalfi Coast is on music. It must end by midnight or earlier in most locations and there are few exceptions. If you envision your wedding with a blowout band and dance party, the coast may not be for you.
When choosing whether and where to get married on the Amalfi Coast or the islands of Capri and Ischia, good planning and local knowledge are imperative. Expert guidance on logistics will make the days flow smoothly for you and your guests. We are here to make it all look effortless.
