Italy is often considered one of the most romantic places to host a destination wedding. Every one of its 20 regions boasts beautiful castles, palaces, abbeys and fortresses in the verdant countryside. With its millennia of visible history, gorgeous architecture, cascading domes and warm glow, the Eternal City is perfect for that eternal vow. Click HERE to see the article in Forbes magazine.

The bride had a very specific style in mind for their boho chic wedding in the Amalfi town of Ravello. She wanted it to be intimate and off beat and to reflect their personalities. She and I both love a jumble of collected blue and white Chinese porcelain which was stunning with flowers in pinks and reds. This wedding was so glamorous and dreamy in an exquisite ancient castle with gardens high up on a hill overlooking Florence. We loved every detail, particularly the juxtaposition of the sequinned tablecloths and crystal chandeliers with the spartan, rustic aspect of the castle. We are so honored! From all the table place settings on the web Martha Stewart chose two of ours for their “Prettiest Place Settings” feature. I must admit that putting together the tablescapes is probably my favorite thing as wedding planner. Brenda was interviewed by Destination Weddings Magazine as an authority on weddings in Italy. She was asked for an important tip for those contemplating a destination wedding. Her reply emphasised that when having a destination wedding where your guests are traveling a long way and sometimes at great expense it is important to take them somewhere that offers an experience that they cannot get at home. They should be rewarded for the sacrifices they have made to share in your wedding celebration.
This was such a beautiful wedding with amazing colors. I love reds, oranges and pinks together. It helped that it was at the end of October and the floral colors could not have been more brilliant. What a glamorous wedding this was and it was all captured exquisitely in this cinematic video short. The wedding itself was like being in a movie and so it was fitting that their wedding video would convey that same atmosphere.

When the MINI car came back on the scene the company wanted it to be a new, hip, young experience. Part of their image was to publish occasional magazines featuring people who were following their dreams in different locales throughout the world. One issue was all about Rome and the internationals making their home there.
The three days began here with this Welcome Pizza Party in the Medieval hamlet of the estate. I can’t imagine a warmer, more entertaining way to welcome your guests. Click HERE to see the full feature on Style Me Pretty.
One of our Tuscan weddings from last summer was featured this week in Ceci NY Magazine. What an honor! Ceci NY is an exquisite paper design company based in NYC.
Ever since I was a child I coveted Town & Country magazine. It was so glamorous and chic and had the best fashion coverage. I was working at Vera Wang when they were one of the top wedding magazines, giving the just launched Martha Stewart Weddings a run for their money. Well, we all know who won that contest but it was a pleasure when they interviewed me for this feature in their 2008 Weddings issue.
